deferring

Taking a year out to start a studio up....

Think i might aswell try the industry out before I go to Uni, see how it all goes. Always have the option to go back next year.

Looking for a space though.

playing around

just thought i would see what it looked like

oh how the days come and go

Getting closer to uni and yet im feeling further away from it than ever before :(, on the good side money is picking up and grades are good. I've not got long left with the people i've spend the past two years with as every one is going to go onto their own thing after this I think......see how every thing goes.

Me and the little person

I have been driven 360 miles to the south of Cornwall by a little person to attend an Interview at falmouth. This interview is for a Press Photograph course starting in september this year.
I am eagerly waiting the results of this interview, but the next stage is the journey back home. I Would just like to say thank you to that little person for putting in the 6.5 hours driving here and I would like to say a big thank your in advance for the 6.5 hours back :) x.

Where should i take it

Im being hit from all directions telling me the industry is suffering badly, photographers are packing there jobs up and moving back to a conventional living. Fortunately, I am hopefully going to be in educations for the next 5 years. James Vellacott from the Mirror gave some good advice the other day, saying stay in education for as long as you can while the economy is in this state.

I am really hoping this falmouth interview goes to plan as I believe it will give me a boost and help me head in the right direction.

a few of my first portraits :)

I've been flicking my library a thought I would post a few portraits I like. Still haven't had the chance to get out there with the new 70-200mm 2.8 but have a few dates coming up soon.
Perhaps I will go out on the street and see if I can find some interesting visual stories :).

not just another monday

We received our final major project today which might I add was hugely disappointing due to the lack of imagination required, then again I am probably being pedantic. We are to make a training video for a library. This is the project to sum up the entire past two years, after creating music videos, short films and even a television s
how we are to make a library training video.... ahhh well.

planning on meeting up tomorrow to discuss the next photo-shoot, still in need of a hair stylist :(

any how I will keep this post interesting with another image from the toni&guy shoot :)

Toni&Guy Shoot

Had to be up early on Thursday, I was heading over to the night club Cruise in chester to assist on a photo-shoot with a close friend and fellow photographer henry (goose). We got there early and began to scout the place out and discuss lighting techniques, about 10:30 two of the models arrived shortly followed by a trail of clothing, shoes, stylists and makeup artist.
Around 11 we began shooting spending about an hour in each location, we both worked really well together bouncing ideas off each other and performing consistently. After about 7 different locations through out the club moving from a gothic section to a futuristic location... to all sorts of different styled room we drew the shoot to an end.

both of us are extremely satisfied with the results and are planning our next shoot imminently
